NON STIGMATIZING

It is critically important to conduct research outside stigmatized conditions, to include marginalized groups that experience stigma, and to develop interventions to reduce stigma.

ACTIONABLE

It is vital that we move beyond the whitepapers and published articles and develop accessible research with well articulated findings to help us actively shape and influence the health and well-being of their communities.

ADVOCACY

It is vital that we harness our insights to not only raise the important issues, but create agency in organiZations to co-create and find ways of inspiring change in public and policy alike.

EPIDEMIOLOGICAL SURVEY

The Stillpoint Engage team has listened closely to insights from: Kosovo’s mental-health leadership, The World Health Organization, and USAID, as well as Minister of Health Uran Ismaili. With their urging, researchers in our team are designing a population-wide epidemiological research study to assess the prevalence of psychiatric disorders among adults, and among children and adolescents in Kosovo.

With our team’s combined expertise in psychiatry, digital technology, and the mental health of children and adolescents, we are building customized, state-of-the-art interview templates and applications for easy use and integration in schools and other public facilities. We know that this information will provide an essential foundation to make possible effective future innovations in Kosovo’s mental health system.
